Though I sold my motorbike last year the fascination of two wheels hasn’t completely left me. It is a very different set of wheels these days, though.
For quite some time I have been eyeing e-scooters, but their main benefits are in the city, not at my new living place, where the hills are steep and the distances long. Also the majority of the paths I travel are gravel and dirt.
After some time checking out the scene and reading tests over and over again, I found myself coming back to the pages of Egret ever so often.
Definitely not the cheapest, but definitely sexy. Especially the X+-Type for rougher terrain.
After saving some money during the summer I finally decided to order that model End of October 2023.
Over the winter I used it mainly to move the bins to the crossing every other Sunday night – most of the time it was simply too cold to take any longer rides.
But now in spring the situation has changed and a few days ago I had my first long gravel ride of about 15 km. The scooter performed brilliantly and I love to be able to see all the nice parts of the surrounding landscape without breathing problems and the feeling of suffocating.
I can’t wait for the warmer days to come.
