Only today I learned that Joey Culver, the awesome singer of Atomship and Papercut Massacre died on 31.12.2020.
He was only 40 years old.
This is his last message on his Facebook page:
Atomship’s album The Crash of ’47 will always be one of the most endearing pieces of music to me, Withered a song in my forever top ten. I am a bit heartbroken.
2020 was a shitty year, alright. This bang of an end was unnecessary and unwanted.
RIP Joey.
